I have been wearing our Crepe Hijab in Misty Plum a lot, like a lot this month. The crepe material is so soft, so light and the colour is absolutely gorgeous. I love wearing it to work as it  styles well with everything. Unlike many crepes, Lamia crepes do not slip or fall. Trust me, I am on my feet all day.

Here is a list of my top favourite products for past year and why I love them so much.

Let us talk make up ...

 1. Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation

I discovered this foundation around the time my brother was getting married, and as you can imagine I was looking for the perfect foundation. I am a Chanel Vitalumiere and Nars Sheer Glow girl. Since the wedding was special. I wanted something new, something build able, that I could adjust to my needs.

My skin is olive-toned and on the dry side. This foundation is just perfect for me.It has a lightweight feel and is not runny or sticky. It is a perfect in-between silky, yet not greasy feel. It absorbs quickly into the skin and gives a better finish when used with a primer first. I found using a stippling brush better than a beauty blender with this foundation.

Make Up For Ever STEP 1 Primer I have never used face primers before and I didn't think I needed a face primer since my skin is quite dry. I was so wrong! Primer makes such a difference to your foundation application. This primer creates a temporary layer on your pores and the makeup just glides on nicely.

Anastasia Brow wiz and Brow Gel: I know pretty much everyone uses these. All the YouTubers and bloggers are raving about them. I don't follow the hype, but boy was I wrong. When I tried these two, my expression was "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!!" and as you can imagine I've never stopped buying them. The Brow Wiz is just perfect and has completely changed the way my eyebrows look.

Chanel Chance Perfume : This is my signature perfume. I have used this perfume since I was 15 and until today it is still my number one choice. To me this perfume is a classic, it's romantic and fresh and it can be worn to any occasion. The smell just stays on all day, I always get plenty of compliments about the way I smell when wearing this.

Bronze Universel De Chanel  I've had this product for a few years now, I believe It's now called SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL. It's meant to be used under your foundation but to be honest I use this in so many different ways. I used it as a bronzer on top on my foundation for a natural tanned look and sometimes when I just want a light face contour. It is very creamy and does not look cakey when applied on your skin.

Purdue Universelle Libre loose powder this powder is so silky. It is not a translucent powder because it has a tiny bit of colour. I've had this a little over two years and I have just hit half of it. Although this is a high-end product and a bit pricey, it is worth the money because of the amount of product you get. If you have oily skin I do not recommend this powder because it just does nothing for you, however if you are like me with dry skin, this would be great for you. It is not too heavy, quite light. My favourite way of applying it is with a damp beauty blender under the eyes and on the t-zone.

Urban Decay Naked Skin and Nars Radiant Creamy concealers. I have been using both of these concealers for more than a year now and I always find myself reaching for them. The Urban decay Naked Skin gives me the right amount of coverage. It doesn't look cakey and it doesn't sit in the fine line under my eyes. I like to use it with my damp beauty blender and sometimes I don't even need to set it with a powder. Especially if I am just going to work or out and about running after the kids.

The Nars Radiant creamy concealer is perfect for concealing small spots around my face and sometimes to get rid of redness around my nose. It has a thicker consistency than the naked skin concealer and lasts for more than 6hr. I do not find it necessary to set this concealer with powder. It is super creamy and  glides on like a dream. You just need the smallest amount to brighten up the area.

Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner : This liquid eyeliner is in intense black. I can say that this is the best eyeliner ever. I have tried so many liquid eyeliners over the years and by far this is the best. It is waterproof so it does not stick to my upper eyelid and stays in place all day. It is very easy to use and wing. My eyeliner has never looked better and I've received  tons of compliments on how perfect my eyeliner is.

Stilla stay all day Liquid Lipstick : In the shade Caramello is just the perfect nude lipstick shade. The colour reminds me a lot of Velvet teddy by Mac. Although this lipstick is quite expensive, it is just amazing. It is super opaque and has a matt finish. It is less drying than other lipsticks that I've tried. I find that it is better not to wear a lip balm or a lip primer underneath it as it looses its effect and reduces the longevity of the product.
